I attribute my passion for communication to growing up in Peru. I needed to seek news and information about my interests: sports, pop culture, and global geopolitics. I only succeed because of the rise of the internet and new media. Growing up in Peru exposed me to systematic traumas in communities. It showed me how grim the world can be.

I want to use my passions to seek the answers on how to combat these social issues. I study the sports new media industry to study global societies, communities, and cultural perceptions.
